Submissions Requirements

Deadline: 12pm GMT+8, 17 July 2024, Wednesday


Team Representative:

  • One team member must be appointed as the 'Team Representative' to submit the project.


GitHub Repository:

  • Create a GitHub repository and share access with the team.
  • Repository must include the application’s code, README file, deployment files, and testing instructions.
  • Judges will assess only the code and improvements made during the hackathon.
  • The repository should be open-source.


Project Details:

  • Provide a concise project description (max 100 words).
  • State the project's primary purpose, objectives, and key features.
  • Include demo login credentials if needed.


Project Demo Link:

  • Provide the URL to the live demo of the solution.
  • Include login credentials for the demo if applicable.
  • Showcase any improvements made during the hackathon.


Optional Pitch Deck or Pitch Video:

  • Pitch Deck: Submit a 10-slide PDF deck covering:
  1. Team and Project Introduction (1-2 slides)
  2. Project Summary (4-7 slides)
  3. Demo (1-2 slides)
  4. Future Roadmap (1-2 slides)
  • Pitch Video: Upload a 4-minute YouTube video introducing the project. Ensure proper sharing permissions.


Tech Stack:

  • List all technologies and services used by the team to build the project.

Judging Criteria

APTOS BLOCKCHAIN UTILIZATION (30%)

  • Evaluation: How effectively does the project leverage the unique capabilities of the Aptos blockchain? Consider the suitability for a blockchain-based solution, use of specific Aptos features, and the potential impact on the Aptos ecosystem.

Note: Participants must build their projects on the Aptos blockchain! 😉


TECHNICAL MERIT (20%)

  • Evaluation: How technically impressive is the project? Assess the technical difficulty, sophistication of the technologies used, elegance of the solution, and code quality.

Note: Participants can only use Move as their coding language to build their projects! 💡


FUTURE POTENTIAL (10%)

  • Evaluation: Does the project have the potential to grow, scale, or inspire further innovation?


PROJECT COMPLETENESS (20%)

  • Evaluation: How complete is the project? Does it have a working prototype or proof of concept? Is the solution feasible and ready for implementation, or does it still need significant development?


INNOVATION (20%)

  • Evaluation: How novel and original is the project? Is it pushing boundaries, addressing a unique problem, or applying the Aptos blockchain in a new way?
